On July 1st, 1927, Canada Celebrates Its Diamond Jubilee (60 Years After Dominion Of Canada Was Born) At Legislative Buildings In Ottawa. A New Centre Block Replaced The One Destroyed In The Fire Of February 3rd, 1916. With Improvement Of The St. Lawrence And Other Canal Systems More And Larger Ships Reached To Lakehead. The 180 Foot Ss " Rosedale" Became On July 18,1888, The First Steel Steam Vessel To Carry Cargo Into The Heart Of North America.
